Do You Have Trouble Sleeping? Use these Questions to Find Out

A better way to rephrase that question may be what would you consider a good night sleep? 

When was the last time you woke up and said 'Wow - I feel refreshed!'  After all - this is the purpose of sleep - to help us feel refreshed!

Asking someone if they sleep enough is a tricky proposition. Most people are bad at judging their behavior objectively, and sleep is particularly difficult because the number of factors involved. 

Recent advances in technology have made it easier to track sleep however there's still a long way to go.

In the mean time:  

Use these questions to see if you're on the right track :
  1. You're able to fall asleep within 15 - 20 minutes of lying down in bed

  2. You sleep throughout the night without interruption 

  3. You regularly sleep 7 - 9 hours

  4. You wake up feeling alert 

  5. You wake up without the aid of an alarm clock 

  6. You're productive and don't have trouble focusing through the day

So there you have it. If you answered yes or mostly yes then you're probably doing fine!
